Coach's Corner

I've always been intrigued by what athletics teaches our youth about life. Competing at a high level in sports provides great opportunities for young people to learn about commitment to a team, goal setting, hard work, dealing with adversity, and leadership. Softball provides an excellent learning environment for young women to learn these life lessons and gain confidence in their own ability to get better at a challenging activity. Over my eight years of coaching girls from the 10U level through varsity high school ball, I've marveled at the character building aspect of participating in softball. I'm thrilled to be part of this process of helping young ladies develop life-long skills that will serve them in any future career or endeavor.
